We are Conservation International
We're working to ensure a healthy, productive planet for everyone. Because people need nature to thrive.
Building upon a strong foundation of science, partnership and field demonstration, we work with societies to responsibly and sustainably care for nature, our global biodiversity, for the well-being of humanity.
For nearly three decades, Conservation International has been working around the globe protecting nature for the benefit of people.
Conservation International employs more than 1,000 people and works with 2,000+ partners in more than 30 countries. We have helped establish 1,200 protected areas across 78 countries and protected more than 730 million hectares of land, marine and coastal areas.
We have been working with communities and government in Samoa since 2006 to help conserve critical forest ecosystems and to support sustainable management of the surrounding ocean.
We think outside the box to measure and monitor the species and ecosystems needed to regulate climate, provide fresh water, and support our crops.
We combine resources with ingenuity to provide and procure the funding, training and technical expertise needed to make smart policy and programs.
With offices in over 30 countries and thousands of projects worldwide, we work in remote places with the people who live closest to the natural resources that benefit us all.
