Celebrate 2020 Earth Day
Over the past five decades, biodiversity worldwide has declined by 60%. Major drivers include climate change and human activities.
On April 22, CI China and Toutiao (a Bytedance brand) co-launched an online campaign to celebrate the annual Earth Day event. The campaign was themed wildlife protection, it attracted more than 10 million Toutiao users to join within four days. 55 national and local media have covered the event.
A live broadcast was held on April 22 in Poyang Lake area where CI is committed to conserving the freshwater and wetland ecosystems. Invited guests of CI local partners shared broad knowledge on wildlife and how we can help to protect them and their habitat.
